“Find Polaris” button: it starts a little (embedded) script (~ 20 seconds) that shows how to find the North star. Polaris is found by imagining a line from Merak (β) to Dubhe (α) and then extending it for five times the distance between the two Pointers.
To show the boundary of one particular constellation you should click the “Search” button, then use this button. If no constellation is selected, all the 88 constellation boundaries are shown. It acts only on the currently selected constellations. “Boundaries” button: turns off/on the edges/boundaries of the constellations. It works as if you close and restart the console. The “Cancel” button close the current popup window. The first button on the left allows you to come back to the default location you have specified in the Options window. “Home” button: if you need to reset your current location and come back to your default location, click this button. It works only if only some constellations are visible, otherwise it does nothing. “All Constellations” button: turns on all the 88 constellations together. “Ground” button: turns off/on the current ground/landscape. “Atmosphere” button: turns off/on the atmosphere.To show only particular constellation you should use the “Search” button.
